Print your catch. Eat your catch. Remember the Catch.™

The only gyotaku fish printing kit made with 100% food-safe cuttlefish ink — built for the big ones. Trophy offshore species deserve a trophy print. No toxic sumi ink. No rice paper that tears. Just a clean, detailed print in 5–10 minutes, right on the boat or at the dock. We built a printing press for the average fisherman. No artistic skill required.

What Makes Fishin' Prints Different

Traditional gyotaku uses sumi ink (made from burning oil and wood) and fragile rice paper. We rebuilt the process from scratch for real anglers — durable cloth developed specifically for gyotaku printing and all-natural cuttlefish ink, the same ingredient used in squid ink pasta. The result is a fish print that lasts, on a material that holds every scale and fin in detail.

What's In The Kit

  • 2 sheets of cloth developed specifically for gyotaku printing (60x36 inches each)
  • 4 packets of food-safe, all-natural cuttlefish ink
  • Ink dish
  • Application brush
  • Shop grade rags
  • Gloves
  • Full step-by-step instructions

How Many Prints Can I Make?

The Pelagic Pack includes 2 full-size sheets (60x36 inches). Leave them whole for 2 full-size prints of trophy offshore species, or cut them down for smaller fish and get up to 4 separate printing sessions. With 4 packets of cuttlefish ink included, the kit has enough supplies to print up to 15 fish total.

Best For

Offshore and pelagic species — amberjack, mahi, wahoo, tuna, cobia, kingfish, sailfish, and more. Built for the big ones.

How It Works

  1. Apply ink to your fish
  2. Press cloth firmly over the fish
  3. Peel back and let dry — 5 minutes in the sun
  4. Fillet and eat your catch

No artistic skill required. No experience needed. Just a fish.
